Aorangi Terrace

Question setter's note: Aorangi Terrace is also known as Henman Hill, Murray Mound, Raducanu Ridge, etc.

Web Editor's note: Wikipedia explains that the terrace is named after Aorangi Park, the grounds of London New Zealand Rugby Club, which were on the site until 1981. The name Aorangi referred to New Zealand's highest mountain, which was for many years most commonly known in English as Mount Cook. Wikipedia describes Aorangi as the "standard" form of its Māori name, although the preferred form now seems to be Aoraki. This is the name of a figure in the traditions of the Māori people of New Zealand's South Island, which can be "romantically" interpreted to mean 'sky piercer'.
